- Experience working with large, complex datasets and the ability to efficiently query and analyze high-volume data environments.
- Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools, with Tableau experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to move beyond visualization and understand the underlying data structures, models, pipelines, and transformations supporting reporting.
- Experience translating stakeholder questions and requirements into metrics, data models, dashboards, and actionable analytical insights.
- Experience investigating data quality issues, anomalies, pipeline failures, or discrepancies across multiple data sources or processing layers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take an ambiguous business or data problem, investigate it, and determine a practical path forward.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including business stakeholders and end users.
- Ability to balance project-based development with changing priorities, ad hoc requests, and production support responsibilities.
- Experience with Snowflake, telematics, IoT, GPS/sensor data, insurance data, or other large-scale event-based datasets is highly preferred.
