Client Overview:Vernovis is partnering with a privately held, multi-entity organization seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team and help drive long-term growth, operational scalability, and financial performance.

What You'll Do:- Lead enterprise-wide financial operations including FP&A, accounting, treasury, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, operational performance, and growth initiatives
- Develop KPI-driven analytics, financial models, and reporting tools to support business decision-making
- Drive process improvements, internal controls, and scalable operational infrastructure across the organization
- Oversee banking, audit, tax, legal, and external advisor relationships
- Lead technology and systems initiatives including ERP optimization, reporting enhancements, and cybersecurity oversight
- Mentor and develop Finance, Accounting, and IT teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience within privately held or multi-entity organizations
- Strong background in strategic finance, FP&A, accounting operations, cash flow management, and operational leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Proven experience leading teams, influencing executive leadership, and driving organizational change
- Strong communication, analytical, and relationship management skills
- Experience within family-owned or entrepreneurial business environments
- ERP implementation or systems modernization experience
- Oversight of IT functions, cybersecurity initiatives, or enterprise technology strategy
