Vernon Memorial Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Hospital Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. This full-time leadership role is responsible for all aspects of pharmaceutical usage, compliance, and safety, while serving as a trusted resource for providers and patients. You’ll oversee a talented team, manage budgets and inventory, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations. From supervising staff development to guiding medication safety initiatives, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care every day.
Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy, maintain active licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Wisconsin, and have current CPR certification. Previous supervisory experience and hospital pharmacy practice are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and manage team workflows, and maintain confidentiality in all patient and hospital matters. Proficiency in federal and state pharmaceutical regulations, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills for collaborating with physicians, nurses, patients, and vendors are essential. Comfort with computerized systems, report generation, and performing complex mathematical and chemical analyses is required.
