Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism at the front desk.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries regarding services, medications, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Assist veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, and preparation for examinations.
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians and provide instructions to pet owners.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and clinic facilities.
- Educate clients on pet care, vaccination schedules, and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with veterinary assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment.
- Experience with animal handling techniques, including dog handling and restraint methods.
- Background in laboratory procedures or veterinary critical care is a plus.
