What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at Vermeer Texas-Louisiana?
The Marketing Manager oversees all aspects of marketing related to equipment and services. This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, programs, promotions and events in addition to various other responsibilities.
Compensation = Salary Profit-Sharing 401K with 6% company match
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, programs and promotions for equipment and services to generate leads and increase revenue. Create and manage campaigns and buyer journeys within CRM platform.
- Manage local marketing efforts in all territories, ensuring deliverables are executed to help grow the brand in the defined territory.
- Oversee event execution to promote company’s products and services. Includes trade shows, new product introductions, demo days, customer appreciation events, and sponsorships.
- Develop, manage and maintain annual budget.
- Manage and develop content for the brand, highlighting equipment, customers, or company resources. This includes but is not limited to email marketing, job stories, customer testimonials and social media content. Oversee public relations efforts with local trade media.
- Manage leads deployment to sales team from all marketing sources.
- Manage company website and associated content.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts including search engine marketing, search engine optimization, display and retargeting efforts.
- Manage agency production, planning and execution of outsourced projects.
- Represent company at industry and customer events.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working in marketing. Experience working in B2B marketing a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns. Understanding of product marketing, including research, planning, positioning and developing creative asset a must.
- Must be a highly self-motivated, resourceful problem solver with the ability to work effectively and build strong relationships across the organization.
- Experience managing a team a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong computer skills. Microsoft Office suite, Excel, PowerPoint required.
- Ability to travel up to 15%
