Vermeer North Atlantic Sales and Service is the exclusive dealer/distributor of Vermeer brand industrial equipment for the Hudson Valley New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania region. We are looking to hire a Parts Counter Specialist to add to our already accomplished Lumberton, NJ team.
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
YOU ARE THE PERFECT CANDIDATE IF YOU:
- Spanish as a 1st or second language welcome!
- Like talking to customers.
- Can process customer orders over the phone or in-person.
- Have excellent customer service skills, are good on the phone, are very organized, and have an eagerness to learn.
- Possess computer skills and can learn new programs quickly.
- Are able to clarify requests, learn to identify parts and offer alternative solutions.
- Can assist shop technicians by retrieving and ordering parts for existing work orders.
- Are able to complete a sale by entering purchased items into a sales system, process a payment, add purchase to credit account, and issue sales receipts.
- Enjoy stocking received products as well as unpacking, arranging, and placing them in the appropriate places. Note: Some occasional heavy lifting may be required.
- Are able to correctly pick and pack orders for customer deliver. Shipping experience is a plus, but not necessary.
- Can inspect returned items, process refunds, issue credit, re-pack and re-shelve items, and return damaged items to supplier as needed.
- Are able to maintain a safe environment by following safety and security procedures and comply with codes.
- Can maintain up-to-date job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and taking online courses when provided.
- Possess mechanical, auto parts, and/or warehouse experience - desired but not necessary.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday.
- 8am-5pm
- Bi-weekly pay.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required).
