What you’ll be doing...
Provide overall strategic direction and sales execution for our Outbound Telemarketing Partner (OTM) success, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and frontline sales execution. You will provide the direction needed to drive "Quality Growth" across converged Wireless and Wireline (Fios) business segments.
Driving Strategic Direction: Communicating goals, managing KPIs, and facilitating training to ensure the OTM partner meets aggressive performance targets.
Driving Sales Excellence: Acting as a sales-driven leader who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves, hop on calls, and connect directly with customers to resolve escalations or save deals.
Sales Enablement & Training: Expertly training partners on complex rate plans, product updates, and converged solutions (Wireless + Fios), ensuring every rep is equipped to win.
Strategic Partner Upskilling: Leading weekly Results Reviews and C-Suite partnership meetings to align on KPIs, while simultaneously providing "on-the-floor" coaching to improve rep-level execution.
Mastering the "Pivot": Driving a solution-selling culture by teaching reps how to craft powerful positioning statements and use proven techniques to overcome customer objections.
Optimizing Operations: Navigating complex systems (External CRM Platform) to audit orders, mitigate cancellations, and resolve high-level friction points like fraud holds or credit adjustments.
Analyzing Performance: Using data-driven insights from campaign reporting and gap analysis to spark new creative approaches and business strategies.
What we’re looking for...
You are a high-achieving sales professional who leads by example. You possess a sales mentality required to drive volume, but the strategic depth to ensure that volume is high-quality and sustainable. You don’t just report numbers; you interpret them to solve roadblocks and improve the customer experience. You have the technical depth to understand complex product suites (Wireless and FiOS) and the professional presence to hold partners accountable for operational quality.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Prior business sales experience with a proven track record of hitting aggressive targets.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Verizon solution portfolios, including One Talk, FiOS, and Wireless business products.
System Proficiency: Advanced experience navigating CRM and reporting tools.
Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to influence C-Suite leadership and manage 3rd-party vendor/partner relationships.
Operational Grit: Experience in navigating complex internal roadblocks (e.g., fraud overrides, spending limits) to ensure a seamless customer experience. You are resourceful and leverage your VBG network to solve complex problems.
Operational Excellence: A track record of reducing system friction points and managing end-to-end "orders in jeopardy."
Coaching Credentials: Experience designing and delivering training on solution selling and converged (Wireless + Wireline) sales strategies.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
