Overview
Verity Integrated Systems is seeking a Mission Planning & Fires Analyst to support operationally relevant planning, analysis, and scenario development for long-range fires and integrated air and missile defense.
This role directly supports Joint and Army-focused efforts involving mission planning, wargaming, and evaluation of emerging weapon systems. The position sits at the intersection of operations and analysis, translating real-world mission requirements into actionable planning scenarios and insights.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute mission planning scenarios for long-range strike and integrated air and missile defense operations
- Analyze operational problems across multi-domain environments, including land, air, and missile systems
- Build and refine threat environments, target sets, and mission profiles for exercises, studies, and experiments
- Support performance assessments of emerging weapon systems and operational concepts
- Participate in Joint exercises, wargames, and operational planning events
- Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and analysts to improve planning approaches and tools
- Translate operational requirements into structured scenarios and analytical outputs that inform decision-making
Required Qualifications
- Experience in military operations related to fires, targeting, air defense, aviation, or mission planning
- Examples include Field Artillery, Air Defense Artillery, Aviation, AOC operations, targeting cells, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of how missions are planned, coordinated, and executed in an operational environment
- Ability to think operationally and apply military experience to analytical problems
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Joint or multi-domain operations
- Background supporting organizations such as MDTFs, DIVARTY, AOCs, or similar operational units
- Familiarity with mission planning or command and control systems (e.g., AFATDS, TAIS, TBMCS, JADOCS, or similar)
- Experience supporting wargames, exercises, or operational planning efforts
- Exposure to modeling, simulation, or analytical tools
- Current has a security clearance
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
OR equivalent military experience (operational experience is highly valued)
Location
- Huntsville, AL (primary)
- Travel may be required to support exercises and test events
