This is a full-time, on-site Systems Engineer role based in Huntsville, AL. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing complex systems and processes throughout their lifecycle. Key responsibilities include requirements analysis, system design, integration, testing, and performance evaluation, with a focus on delivering optimized engineering solutions. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with established standards will also be essential aspects of this role.
- Strong foundation in Systems Engineering concepts, including systems design, requirements analysis, and life-cycle management.
- Experience with system integration, testing, and performance evaluation processes.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and the ability to produce specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Knowledge of software and hardware systems and related standards; familiarity with systems modeling tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE) are advantageous.
- Previous experience in defense, aerospace, or government projects is a plus.
