- Base Pay: This position has an annual range of $62,285 (minimum) to $93,427(maximum), with a midpoint of $77,856. Starting pay is offered based upon an applicant's experience and education relevant to the position
- Paid Time Off: All Verity employees receive 11 paid holidays per year, 4 floating holidays as well as paid time off (PTO is combined vacation and sick leave.) PTO starts accruing immediately at a rate of 20 days per year
- Benefits: Both full and part time employees (and their family) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, with a no cost option available for employee only coverage! Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and receive an employer match up to 6%

System Administration & Maintenance
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise applications and databases
- Perform upgrades to software and business systems
- Manage and monitor systems, events, and logs, including End-of-Day, -Month, and -Year processing
- Ability to help manage system software, services, accounts, security, and business systems
- Provide technical application support to Verity staff and the IT help desk
- Assist individuals in maximizing the usefulness of applications
- Provide support for disaster recovery scenarios
- Ability to work various hours and shifts; includes 24/7 on-call support
- Provide support for projects related to enterprise applications
- Work with the IT team to ensure the department meets service quality standards
- Interact with vendor support teams
- Other tasks as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree in computer science, or closely related field, and/or two (2) plus years (full-time) experience
- 2 plus years’ experience supporting core banking software solution, preferably with Fiserv/DNA core software
- Technical Accuracy: Demonstrates proficiency in managing daily application operations, executing software updates, monitoring logs, and configuring basic system settings. Accurately performs installations, upgrades, and maintenance tasks while ensuring data integrity, consistency, and operational reliability.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Applies the ability to diagnose routine to moderately complex issues using log analysis, basic SQL queries, and troubleshooting tools. Resolves errors in applications, databases, and services, and escalates issues when outside of scope.
- Service Orientation: Possesses the ability to deliver prompt, effective, and courteous support to users, internal staff, and IT teams. Uses foundational knowledge of enterprise applications to troubleshoot issues and provide accurate resolutions with minimal downtime.
- Accountability and Reliability: Shows the ability to independently manage operational tasks such as End-of-Day, -Month, and -Year processing, system checks, and updates. Demonstrates reliability in responding to on-call duties and completing assigned tasks thoroughly.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Applies proficiency in handling a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, vendor communications, and system maintenance. Demonstrates the flexibility to switch between competing priorities and changing technical needs.
- Effective Communication: Possesses the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms. Communicates clearly with staff, vendors, and IT peers, and documents processes and troubleshooting steps accurately.
- Process Improvement and Efficiency: Demonstrates the ability to recognize inefficiencies in day-to-day workflows. Recommends process improvements and applies basic automation techniques where appropriate to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Organizational Skills: Uses strong organizational skills to manage operational tasks, support tickets, and project deadlines. Applies the ability to triage tasks based on urgency, business impact, and service expectations.
