- Base Pay: This position has an hourly range of $23.67 (minimum) to $35.51 (maximum), with a midpoint of $29.59. Starting pay is offered based upon an applicant’s experience and education relevant to the position.
- Paid Time Off: All Verity employees receive 11 paid holidays per year and 3 floating holidays, as well as paid time off (PTO is combined vacation and sick leave.) PTO starts accruing immediately at a rate of 20 days per year.
- Benefits: Both full and part time employees (and their family) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, with a no cost option available for employee only coverage! Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and receive an employer match up to 6%.
- Other Benefits: This position is eligible for annual cash bonuses up to 1% and a 1% profit-sharing bonus to 401k accounts based on company performance.

Loan Processing & Documentation Review
- Review and process indirect and direct loans in accordance with applicable regulations and credit union policies
- Audit loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Evaluate credit, verify debts, and load documents into the loan origination system
- Review online loan applications and verify applicant identity, employment, and income in accordance with lending guidelines
- Look up NADA values on used vehicles as needed
- Follow up on required loan documentation
- Assist with post-closing documentation
- Perform loan corrections
- Ensure applications adhere to relevant lending laws and internal policies
- Disburse approved loans through appropriate loan systems
- Meet QC requirements
- Meet Service Level Agreements when assisting lending teammates and dealerships
- Serve as a point of contact for dealers and respond to inquiries regarding loan status and requirements
- Act as a point of contact for members via email or online portal to answer questions, request additional information, and guide them through the process
- Collect, organize, and securely store supporting documentation
- Provide feedback on online application platform to improve user experience and processing efficiency
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Loan Processing Accuracy: Maintains accuracy when reviewing, inputting, and validating loan data and documentation while ensuring completeness before funding.
- Regulatory Compliance Awareness: Applies lending regulations, industry standards, credit union policies, and quality control expectations consistently during loan review.
- Analytical Evaluation Skills: Interprets financial data, credit reports, income documents, and collateral values to support sound lending decisions.
- Professional Communication: Provides clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with members, dealers, and internal partners while maintaining a professional tone.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Organizes tasks, manages multiple loan files simultaneously, and meets deadlines and service level expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology Proficiency: Uses loan origination systems and core systems effectively while maintaining accurate data entry and adapting to workflow updates.
- Independent Judgment and Problem Solving: Evaluates information, identifies issues or missing documentation, and makes decisions using sound judgment with minimal supervision.
- Team Collaboration and Member Service Orientation: Supports teamwork needs, fosters positive relationships, and delivers service that reflects the credit union mission and member focused values.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 1 year of experience in a financial institution as a Loan Processor
- Preferred 1 year of experience in a position involving extensive public contact
- Secondary course work in business, communications, lending or equivalent experience
- Position requires the ability to acquire, and maintain, a valid notary certification
