- Experience with embedded systems and real time software development in languages including C, C , Java, and Rust
- Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system
- Research, understand, and develop using new technologies and standards as needed
- Provide process and standards advice in your area of specialization
- Serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and nine (9) years professional experience. Four (4) years of additional system engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience in developing software for the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Experience with GIT, Eclipse, Maven, Linux, JIRA, Confluence
- Be accountable for your work and sometimes others
- Ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience plus three (3) years of relevant full stack development experience
- Eleven (11) years’ relevant experience
- Ability to think like a leader and implement process management procedures
- Experience working in an Agile environment and leading a small development team
- Excellent writing skills, verbal communication, problem solving and analysis techniques
- Minimal, local travel less than 10% of the year
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is required
