A/V Tier II Technician

Audio/Visual Tech II

 Three to five years Senior level AV technician or AV installer experience with

leadership responsibilities

 Proficiency and in-depth knowledge of AV and IT systems and troubleshooting

 Ability to read Architectural and schematic diagrams (AV Systems and Building

Drawings)

 Proficiency with PCs and MS Office

 Audio DSP programming and balancing (design is plus)

 Crestron/AUX/Extron Control System loading and debugging (programming is

plus)

 Schedule based project management

 VTC (video tele-conference) and Digital Media knowledge and experience

 Proficiency to coordinate and plan complex meeting events

 Train Users on equipment

 Provide Technical setup and support for Web Conferencing (Adobe Connect,

WebEx, Zoom, MS Teams, GoogleMeet, etc…) and be able to troubleshoot equipment and equipment interfaces

 Setup, furniture, microphones and Tear down of rooms before and after meeting events

 Promote a continuous quality improvement effort to enhance the services provided to clients and other staff by demonstrating positive attitudes and actions through a display of courtesy, congeniality, cooperation, professionalism, and sensitivity

 Protect the confidentiality of information, including Client lists and interactions within areas of own position responsibilities

 Provide other duties and services, as requested by Client.

Education / Certification

 Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred

 Minimum of 2 professional Certifications required (Cisco/Microsoft/AMX/Crestron, etc)

 5 Years of advanced level AV experience preferred
