What You'll Do:
As our ADON, you will be a cornerstone of our nursing leadership, responsible for:
- Operational Excellence: Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing services, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Drive our commitment to superior resident care by participating in quality assurance programs, implementing best practices, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
- Team Leadership & Development: Support the recruitment, orientation, and ongoing development of our nursing staff. You'll help foster a skilled, compassionate, and engaged team.
- Policy & Procedure Implementation: Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enforcement of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current standards and facility goals.
- Clinical Oversight: Monitor resident care delivery, conduct rounds, and ensure proper documentation and medication administration, addressing any issues proactively.
- Regulatory Readiness: Actively participate in facility surveys and ensure continuous readiness for inspections.
- Resident & Family Relations: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident needs are met and maintain open communication with residents and their families.
- Delegated Authority: Assume full responsibility for nursing operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
What You'll Bring:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State Name].
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Post-Acute setting.
- Proven ability to manage and lead nursing staff effectively.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations (e.g., CMS, DOH) governing SNF/Post-Acute care.
