Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Product Designer to support the design of complex software products across platform, internal, and customer-facing experiences. This role will own the full design lifecycle, including discovery, ideation, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
The ideal candidate has strong product design, UX, and interaction design experience, with the ability to translate complex workflows into intuitive, high-quality user experiences. This person should be comfortable working closely with product, engineering, research, and business stakeholders in fast-paced, technically complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end user experience design for platform, internal product, and customer-facing software initiatives.
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to define product direction and user experience requirements.
- Translate complex user needs, workflows, and technical requirements into clear, intuitive product experiences.
- Create user journeys, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design documentation.
- Lead discovery, ideation, validation, and delivery efforts across the product design lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and collaborative design sessions to align teams around user needs and product concepts.
- Use prototyping to test ideas, communicate design intent, and support decision-making.
- Apply strong visual, interaction, and systems thinking skills to create scalable and elegant design solutions.
- Contribute to design critiques, knowledge sharing, and design process improvements.
- Partner with design systems teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and usability across product experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or human-computer interaction.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality product design, interaction design, and attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of visual design, interaction design, user workflows, and complex product experiences.
- Ability to design for technical, complex, or multi-user workflows.
- Strong prototyping skills and ability to communicate design concepts clearly.
- Experience working closely with engineering, product management, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain the reasoning behind design decisions.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and translate unclear problems into actionable design solutions.
- Strong documentation skills, including user flows, journey maps, design specs, and product requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting or supporting user research, including discovery sessions, usability testing, and feedback synthesis.
- Experience designing for complex, technical, regulated, industrial, aerospace, defense, safety-critical, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong facilitation skills with experience leading workshops and cross-functional alignment sessions.
- Experience working with design systems or contributing to scalable design patterns.
- Experience mentoring other designers or contributing to design team best practices.
- Ability to support products used in high-stakes or time-sensitive environments.
Salary : $150,000 - $230,000
