Position Summary
Sixth Grade Bible (Old Testament Survey) and Geography (Western Hemisphere): The Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging instruction in a Christ-centered learning environment that promotes academic growth, character development, and spiritual formation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons aligned with curriculum objectives
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student learning needs
- Create and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and spiritual growth
- Evaluate student progress through assessments, assignments, and observation
- Maintain accurate records for attendance, grading, and student performance
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain appropriate classroom discipline and supervision of students
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support school goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Teaching certification preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) certification
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to integrating Christian faith and biblical worldview into teaching

Salary and Benefits
- $28,000-$35,000 depending on experience and certifications.
