Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot LAN switching, VLANs, spanning tree protocols, and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) in enterprise environments.
- Manage WAN technologies including IPSec, MPLS, SD-WAN, and load balancing solutions (F5, VIPs, DNS).
- Implement and support enterprise wireless networks, controllers, and access points.
- Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery network architectures.
- Administer and optimize network security technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls (Prisma Access, Panorama), VPNs, and NAC solutions.
- Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco DNA Center for performance and capacity management.
- Automate network tasks using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack).
- Support hybrid cloud networking and integration with on-premises infrastructure, with strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant IT field.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Cloud Certification, and Palo Alto certification required.
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and routing protocol design and troubleshooting.
- Experience with multi-vendor network environments (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba).
- Strong knowledge of network security, performance optimization, and high-availability design.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, particularly GCP and hybrid cloud models.
