Job Title: Zoom Phone Administrator
Location: Manassas, VA
Position Type: 6 month contract (potential extension/renewal)
Pay Range: $35-50/hr. (or higher/negotiable based on experience)
Summary:
Verignet's client is looking for a Zoom Phone Administrator to provide dedicated onsite administration, deployment, and technical support. The primary focus of this role will be supporting Zoom Phone administration and day-to-day unified communications operations, ensuring reliable voice services.
Responsibilities:
• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Zoom Phone environments, including user provisioning, phone settings, call routing, and ongoing operational support.
• Deploy, configure, provision, and troubleshoot HP/Poly VoIP phones and associated hardware.
• Provide onsite technical assistance for end users, resolving voice, connectivity, and telephony-related issues.
• Support daily UC operations, including system troubleshooting, endpoint management, and service restoration.
• Assist with physical telecom infrastructure, including cross-connects, jack termination, 66 blocks, tone-and-tag testing, and related cabling activities.
• Coordinate with internal IT and telecom teams to resolve escalated issues and maintain reliable communications services.
Qualifications:
• Experience administering or supporting Zoom Phone environments strongly preferred.
• General knowledge of enterprise VoIP, unified communications, and telecom systems.
• Familiarity with traditional telecommunications cabling and infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and end-user support skills.
