Job Title: AV Support Technician
Location: Marlton, NJ
Duration: 3-4 month contract
Pay Range: $30-35/hr. (or higher/negotiable based on experience)
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AV Support Technician to provide short-term, on-site support for enterprise audiovisual systems in Marlton, NJ. This role will focus on maintaining and troubleshooting legacy video conferencing and control systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support for conference rooms and AV-enabled spaces.
• Troubleshoot and maintain legacy Cisco TelePresence and Crestron control systems.
• Perform basic AV system diagnostics including signal flow, audio/video routing, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with meeting support, including high-visibility executive meetings.
• Coordinate with IT teams for network-related AV issues (VoIP, VLANs, QoS).
• Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
• Perform minor repairs, equipment swaps, and preventative maintenance.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering or vendor support as needed.
Qualifications:
• 3 years of hands-on AV support experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Working knowledge of Crestron AV/control systems.
• Experience supporting legacy Cisco TelePresence systems highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of AV fundamentals (signal flow, displays, audio systems, switching).
• Familiarity with networking basics related to AV systems (IP addressing, conferencing protocols).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
