Job Title: Low Voltage Cable Technician
Job Length: Contract to Hire
Job Location: Nationwide Travel
Start Date: Once cleared
Pay: W2 Format - Direct Deposit or Check weekly every Friday
Pay Rate: $20.00-25.00/hr pending experience/qualifications
Job Description:
· Pull, terminate, test and label Cat5e and Cat6 Data cabling
· Terminate data jacks and patch panels
· Install ladder racks, networking equipment and telephone equipment
· Perform testing and troubleshooting of equipment and cabling
· Build out telecommunications and equipment rooms
· Any security installation experience is a plus
· Follow and take instructions from site lead
· Work on ladders/lifts as needed
· Ensure job site is clean at the end of shift
· Work in a quick and efficient manner
Qualifications:
· Prior experience terminating Cat 5/6 cable
· Previous experience working in commercial environments
· Telecom hand tools and personal protection equipment required
· Reliable transportation required
Upon meeting eligibility criteria, Verigent offers the following benefits:
