Construction Project Manager

Duration: 1-2 years
Per-Diem Paid Daily -- Hourly Pay (OT will be paid)
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will role will oversee all phases of construction, including preconstruction planning, procurement, scheduling, cost control, quality assurance, subcontractor coordination, and turnover. They will work as an on-site directly with the client, design consultants, and trade partners to complete the project on time, within budget and uphold strong safety and quality standards. Candidates will need onsite construction experience working for a GC or trade contractor supporting large construction projects.
- Involvement with all project phases from preconstruction through closeout.
- Deliver accurately on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate, Communicate, and Coordinate with various business and building partners including internal partners, end client, and subcontractors.
- Experience managing and overseeing billing and schedule of values formation for large projects and generate monthly client billings.
- Must display professionalism, patience, positive attitude, clear communication, and professionalism while delivering in high pressure situations.
Required Experience and Education
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Background in materials and methods of construction.
- A minimum of three (3) years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor or Large Trade Contractor required.
- Onsite exposure and Field Management experience supporting large-scale construction projects through completion.
- Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas: MEP systems, commissioning processes, and QC. LEED
Desired Related Skills
- Computer skills proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams)
- Experience Project management software.
- Accreditation or the ability to become certified 18-24 months preferred.
- Exposure working with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
