Shift: Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM / 40hrs per week / 5*8 shift
Pay : $60/hr. to $70/hr.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to join the team in Geneva, New York. The ideal candidate will provide clinical leadership, oversee nursing operations, support staff, and ensure high-quality resident care across multiple units in a long-term care setting.
This is a full-time evening contract position requiring availability to work every other weekend and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision of nursing staff during the evening shift.
- Oversee resident care activities and ensure compliance with established nursing standards and facility policies.
- Support nursing staff in clinical decision-making, care coordination, and problem-solving.
- Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely assessment, intervention, and escalation of concerns.
- Coordinate staffing and nursing operations across units as needed.
- Float between units based on facility needs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident safety, quality care, and positive outcomes.
- Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to nursing staff when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Previous nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting.
- Prior supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Flexibility to float across units as required.
- Availability to work evenings, every other weekend, and holidays.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
