Job Description & Skill Requirement:
The PLM Transformational Lead is responsible for driving end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) transformation initiatives across the organization. This role ensures alignment of PLM strategy with business objectives, oversees implementation of PLM solutions, and fosters adoption of best practices to optimize product development, data management, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap:
Define and execute PLM transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Develop a roadmap for PLM implementation and continuous improvement.
Implementation & Governance
Lead PLM system deployment, upgrades, and integrations with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
Establish governance frameworks for data integrity, compliance, and process standardization.
Change Management
Drive organizational change through stakeholder engagement, training, and communication.
Promote adoption of PLM tools and processes across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Process Optimization
Identify gaps and opportunities in current product development processes.
Implement best practices for BOM management, configuration control, and digital thread continuity.
Collaboration & Leadership
Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver PLM projects on time and within budget.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, IT, or related field.
10 years of experience in PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA, PTC Windchill).
Proven track record in leading PLM transformation programs.
Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, CAD/ERP integration, and digital manufacturing.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in change management and process re-engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, and digital twin concepts.
PMP or similar project management certification.
