Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support engineering/manufacturing systems in an onsite role in Towson, Maryland.This role focuses on business process improvement, requirements definition, and working with engineering systems (3DX/PLM/CAD environments).This is not a generic Agile/IT Business Analyst role.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve business processes in engineering/manufacturing environments Gather and document business requirements Translate requirements into functional specifications Support system enhancements and integrations Lead/coordinate UAT Create process maps and workflows Collaborate with engineering, IT, and vendors.
Required Experience
- 6 years as Business Analyst or Systems Analyst Experience in manufacturing or engineering environmentsStrong process mapping and requirements skills Experience working with operational or engineering systemsStrong stakeholder communication skills
- Exposure to PLM environments (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE, ENOVIA) Familiarity with CAD or product lifecycle processes Tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio ERP exposure (e.g., SAP in manufacturing context)

Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data and provide actionable insights.
- Proven expertise in Business Analysis and Business Process improvement.
- Ability to identify, document, and communicate Business Requirements effectively.
- Excellent Communication skills to facilitate discussions and bridge gaps between technical teams and key stakeholders.
- Experience in PLM systems within manufacturing or engineering environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in tools and techniques used for process mapping and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
