Cultivation Technician - Cannabis Industry

Position Summary

The Cultivation Technician supports all aspects of cannabis plant growth, from propagation to harvest, following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on hands-on plant care, facility cleanliness, and supporting overall production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily plant care, including cloning, transplanting, pruning, defoliating, trellising, watering, and nutrient application.
• Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests or nutrient deficiencies.
• Move materials, plants, and equipment as required, including going up and down stairs frequently throughout the workday.
• Maintain accurate records of plant growth and cultivation activities.
• Assist with harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, and packaging as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized in accordance with company standards.
• Follow all compliance, health, and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the cultivation team to meet production goals.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
• Previous experience in cultivation, agriculture, or related work is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable with physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive tasks, and frequent stair use.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Must be 21 and meet all Maryland cannabis regulatory requirements for employment.
  
  

Schedule & Pay

• Monday – Friday
• Pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience
