Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting environment.
- Conduct tastings by presenting products professionally, explaining flavor profiles, and answering guest questions with enthusiasm.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, including serving small bites or snacks that complement beverages.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Educate guests about our products’ unique qualities, production methods, and pairing suggestions to enhance their experience.
- Support event setup and breakdown for special tastings or private functions.
Experience
- Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly preferred, especially roles involving customer interaction and serving.
- Experience working in a tasting room, winery, brewery, or similar hospitality setting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude are critical for engaging guests effectively.
- Prior hospitality or restaurant experience helps ensure you’re comfortable managing multiple tasks in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism.
