What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tasting Room Associate P/T position at Eberle Winery?
- Provide welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging tasting experiences for guests
- Share the history, winemaking philosophy, and wines of Eberle Winery
- Guide guests through tastings with confidence and enthusiasm
- Host cave tours and provide an informative, engaging experience for visitors
- Assist with wine sales, club sign-ups, and transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment
- Support tours, events, and daily operations as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous tasting room, wine, or hospitality experience required
- Outstanding hospitality and customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Sales aptitude and understanding of all components of sales
- Computer literacy; knowledge of AMS software is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Flexible schedule required, including weekends and some holidays
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team/family
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- A genuine passion for wine, people, and hospitality
