The Verber Dental Group is seeking a Full-Time Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team at Rother Dental!
In this role, you will support our Dental Hygienists during hygiene appointments while assisting the broader clinical team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. At VDG, our core values are simple: be positive, be kind, and empower others.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Expected start time: 6:45 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist hygienists during hygiene visits
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up supplies, and ensuring equipment is functioning properly
- Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations and documentation standards.
- Manage patient flow by greeting patients, updating medical records in Open Dental, and coordinating schedules with the front desk.
- Maintain infection control protocols using proper sterilization and aseptic techniques.

Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Graduate of a Dental Assistant program
- PA X-ray License
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills that contribute to the team spirit and put patients at ease
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment
- Keep abreast of and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control procedures
A Plus If You Also Have (preferred, but not required):
- Prior experience using dental software including Open Dental
Salary : $17 - $21
