Key Responsibilities
Virtual Infrastructure Support
- Support VMware environments (vRealize, vRA, vROps)
- Maintain virtual hosting infrastructure
- Support Dell and Client server hardware
- Troubleshoot physical server issues in remote data centers
- Support Dell PowerFlex environments
- Support Windows, Linux, and VDI environments
- Manage SAN and NAS storage systems
- Support Nutanix AHV/AOS
- Lead break/fix and service restoration activities
- Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution
- Work with monitoring teams for alerts and escalations
- Improve system efficiencies and reduce manual effort
- Maintain system availability and reliability
- Support infrastructure upgrades and enhancements
- Work with business, engineering, and infrastructure teams
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution
- Maintain operational documentation
- Follow enterprise policies and standards
- 4 years of Systems Engineering experience
- 3-5 years of VMware experience (Required)
- Strong knowledge of VMware fundamentals and related technologies
- Experience with PowerFlex (Required)
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Experience with Dell and Client server hardware
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Experience with Nutanix
