The Maintenance Planner - Hotline acts as a key liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance teams. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment reliability.

The position focuses on optimizing work execution through effective planning, material staging, documentation, and use of maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and manage work orders, preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
• Ensure all required information is included to optimize technician efficiency
• Maintain weekday, weekend, and outage schedules
  
  

Work Coordination & Execution

• Identify, procure, and stage materials, tools, and equipment
• Pre-kit parts to improve wrench time and reduce delays
• Review completed work and plan follow-up actions
  
  

Systems & Documentation

• Utilize Oracle eAM (CMMS) for work order management
• Maintain and update maintenance documentation, calibration records, and work instructions
• Enter production and maintenance data to support continuous improvement
  
  

Process Improvement

• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve maintenance processes
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and reliability improvements
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work complies with safety, health, and environmental standards
• Collaborate with EHS team for safe work planning and approvals
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Support overtime system management
• Order and manage inventory of maintenance supplies
• Backfill Maintenance Supervisor role during absences or outages
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
• 3-5 years of planning and scheduling experience
• Mechanical and/or electrical background
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 3 years planning experience in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Oracle eAM or CMMS systems
• Experience in maintenance, machining, or fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
