This role is ideal for an experienced ASC leader or hospital surgical leader with ASC exposure who brings strong financial acumen and operational leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations including administrative, clinical support, and business functions
- Serve as liaison between Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and USPI Home Office
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation (AAAHC preferred), quality, and safety standards
- Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets
- Monitor financial performance and manage P&L accountability
- Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and performance management
- Maintain strong physician relationships and oversee credentialing processes
- Manage vendor and physician contracts
- Support infection control, quality improvement, and patient experience initiatives
- Identify opportunities to grow surgical volume and increase revenue
- Participate in operational reviews and facility reporting
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of senior healthcare administrative experience
- ASC leadership experience OR hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure
- Experience managing full budgets and P&L
- Experience working closely with physicians and clinical leadership
- Outpatient Surgery Operations Leadership
- Strong Financial Acumen
- Experience managing budgets and P&L
- Proven ability to drive volume and revenue growth
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- AAAHC accreditation experience
- Experience in physician partnership models
- Service line development expertise
