SAP PL2PR Consultant for an onsite engagement in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP end-to-end Plan-to-Produce / Procure-to-Pay / Production & Procurement business processes with hands-on configuration, integration knowledge, and stakeholder management experience.

The SAP PL2PR Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing SAP solutions, supporting implementation/enhancements, and ensuring smooth integration across SAP modules relevant to production planning and procurement processes. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design for SAP PL2PR processes.
• Configure and support SAP modules related to production planning and procurement.
• Perform functional configuration, documentation, testing support, and deployment activities.
• Work on integration points across SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, etc.).
• Support production issues, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (WRICEF).
• Coordinate with ABAP/technical team for enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
• Participate in SIT/UAT testing, defect triage, and go-live support.
• Ensure process alignment with standard SAP best practices.
• Create process flows, configuration documents, and user training materials.
  
  

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• 9–12 years of SAP functional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PL2PR processes.
• Strong experience in SAP modules such as:
• SAP PP
• SAP MM
• Integration exposure with SD / FI / CO (plus)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and procurement business processes.
• Experience in support/implementation projects (end-to-end lifecycle).
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Must be comfortable working onsite in Chicago, IL.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience working in Cognizant projects or similar enterprise environments.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of QM / PM / EWM integrations.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
