SAP BASIS Consultant to support SAP landscape operations, system administration, upgrades, monitoring, and production support across SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP BASIS expertise with experience in system performance tuning, transport management, installations, patching, and troubleshooting in complex SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform SAP BASIS administration across DEV/QA/PRD environments.
- Monitor SAP systems for performance/availability and proactively resolve issues.
- Manage transport activities (STMS) and coordinate deployments.
- Perform system refreshes, client copies, backups/restores and DR support.
- Support SAP upgrades, kernel upgrades, support packs and patching.
- Coordinate SAP user/security administration with GRC/Security teams.
- Support SAP HANA coordination (monitoring troubleshooting support).
- Manage background jobs, spool/printer issues, RFC connections and system parameters.
- Handle production incidents, root cause analysis (RCA) and stability improvements.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks and BASIS documentation.
- Support go-live and hypercare activities.
- 9-12 years of SAP BASIS experience.
- Strong hands-on in:
- SAP BASIS Administration
- System monitoring & performance tuning
- STMS transport management
- Client copy / system refresh
- Upgrades / patching / kernel updates
- Strong production support and incident troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing experience.
