Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for hospital-wide Quality Improvement and Risk Management programs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes and compliance performance.
- Oversee patient safety programs including risk identification, mitigation strategies, and event reporting workflows.
- Drive process improvements aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Lead preparation for surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor quality indicators and performance dashboards; prepare leadership reports and action plans.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen safety culture and reduce risks.
- Support investigations, root cause analyses (RCA), and corrective action planning related to clinical events.
- Active West Virginia RN License (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required)
- Previous Quality experience (required)
- 5 years as an RN in Acute Care (required)
- Strong clinical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to lead quality initiatives across departments
- CPHRM certification (ideal; will be required within 2 years of employment)
