Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 18:00-06:30 (Night Shift)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Workload: 3 Days per week, 12 hours/day
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment & Care Planning
- Assess patients to determine appropriate type and frequency of respiratory treatments.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on diagnosis and clinical findings.
- Implement and monitor respiratory care plans, therapy modalities, and equipment.
- Perform advanced respiratory treatments, including aerosol therapies, airway management, NIPPV/CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen protocols.
- Respond to emergency and code situations as part of the resuscitation team.
- Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient conditions.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care based on patient response.
- Ensure accurate and timely charting in accordance with facility standards.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatments, self-care, and available community support programs.
Skills & Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Experience with advanced respiratory modalities
- Ability to work night shifts (18:00-06:30)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Traveler experience
- Experience in acute care or hospital-based respiratory services
