Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex polysomnographic studies, including MSLT and MWT testing
- Collect, analyze, and compile sleep study diagnostic data
- Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities based on patient condition
- Score sleep studies and prepare diagnostic reports
- Maintain electronic and paper patient records
- Schedule patient sleep studies and coordinate testing logistics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot and maintain sleep lab equipment and EMU devices
- Assist with database management and departmental documentation
- Education that meets certification/licensure requirements
- Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist License (upon hire) OR
- Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist / Respiratory Therapist License
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
- Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
Preferred Experience
- Experience performing sleep diagnostic procedures in clinical sleep labs
- Knowledge of sleep disorder diagnostic protocols
- Experience with sleep study scoring and interpretation
