Key Responsibilities
- Lead plant operations focusing on safety, cost, quality, uptime, and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Drive production targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery
- Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies
- Manage departments including production, quality, maintenance, shipping, and scheduling
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams
- Optimize plant processes to become a low-cost, high-efficiency producer
- Manage plant assets and align operations with strategic business goals
- Collaborate with leadership and other facilities for operational alignment
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred but not mandatory)
- 6 years of production/plant management experience
- Strong experience in manufacturing operations (paper/packaging preferred)
- Proven leadership in managing teams in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Strong operational and process improvement experience
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (corrugating & converting equipment preferred)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing multiple departments and priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in paper, packaging, or container manufacturing industry
- Exposure to large-scale manufacturing environments
