Key Responsibilities
Clinical Procedures
- Assist in neuro interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and position patients for imaging and procedures
- Support radiologists during fluoroscopic and IR procedures
- Operate X-ray, CR, and DR imaging systems
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Troubleshoot and report equipment issues
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Administer oral contrast as needed
- Follow patient rights and safety protocols
- Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and IR team
- Support department workflow and assist team members
- Demonstrate professionalism and accountability
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation
- Follow hospital and regulatory standards
- Ensure medication and equipment compliance
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology / IR experience
- Neurosurgery / Neuroscience experience (Required)
- Active New York State License (Required)
- BLS Certification (AHA - Required)
- Strong experience in imaging and radiologic procedures
- Interventional Radiology experience (Preferred)
- Experience in Neuro IR procedures
- Experience in high-acuity hospital environments
