Key Responsibilities
Clinical Procedures
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Support radiologists during fluoroscopic and IR procedures
- Operate X-ray, CR, and DR systems
- Ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic and procedural accuracy
- Troubleshoot and report equipment issues
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain awareness of patient rights and care standards
- Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and IR team
- Support workflow and assist team members
- Demonstrate professionalism and accountability
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Follow EMR documentation protocols
- Minimum 2 years of Radiology / IR experience
- Neurosurgery / Neuroscience experience (Required)
- Active New York State License (Required)
- BLS Certification (AHA - Required)
- Interventional Radiology experience (Preferred)
- Experience in high-acuity hospital environments
- Experience in procedural imaging settings
