The ICU, CSU & Dialysis Nursing Manager will provide clinical, operational, and leadership oversight for critical care and specialty units. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and efficient unit operations while fostering a culture of safety and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee ICU, CSU, and Dialysis unit operations
- Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization
- Drive patient flow, quality metrics, and core measure compliance
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop nursing staff
- Coach and mentor team members, ensuring performance accountability
- Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and service excellence
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards
- Address patient and employee concerns professionally
- Participate in hospital leadership meetings and committees
- BSN (required); MSN preferred
- Active RN license - State of Texas
- 3-5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience (acute care)
- BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong experience in ICU or critical care settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Expertise in critical care nursing operations (ICU/CSU/Dialysis)
- Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission standards
- Experience in staffing optimization and workforce management
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
- Budget management and resource allocation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
- MSN (Master's in Nursing)
- ARDCS or CCI certification
- Bilingual skills
- Experience in community hospital settings
