Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical engineering services to support production, maintenance, and administration teams in meeting plant goals.
- Lead and manage all phases of assigned capital or reliability projects from:
- Conceptual design
- Scope and specification development
- Bid preparation and evaluation
- Installation
- Startup and project close-out
- Address and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems, automation, and controls.
- Ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet performance targets.
- Support continuous improvement and troubleshooting efforts across all plant operations.
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards, site procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with vendors and contractors during project implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1 year of experience in electrical engineering OR two completed engineering internships (hands-on experience in manufacturing or process industry preferred)
- 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- 1 year of experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with capital project management, vendor coordination, and installation/startup processes
- Familiarity with PLC systems, power distribution, instrumentation, or motor control systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
- Working knowledge of electrical safety codes (NEC, NFPA 70E) and manufacturing safety standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and engineering software
