The eDiscovery Senior Manager leads eDiscovery & Data Management operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and defensible handling of legal data. This role is responsible for team leadership, process optimization, legal hold management, and end-to-end discovery lifecycle execution, while aligning with evolving technologies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
eDiscovery & Data Management Leadership
Oversee end-to-end eDiscovery lifecycle (EDRM)
Manage data collection, processing, hosting, and production
Ensure data integrity and compliance across all legal matters
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop eDiscovery team members
Allocate resources and manage workload across projects
Provide guidance on technical challenges and priorities
Legal Hold & Compliance
Manage legal hold processes and data preservation
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Support litigation, investigations, and regulatory requests
Process Improvement & Strategy
Identify opportunities for efficiency and process optimization
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows
Stay aligned with industry trends and emerging technologies (AI, automation)
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with legal, compliance, IT, and external vendors
Provide strategic advisory on discovery approach and execution
Coordinate document review and departmental activities
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
10 years of experience in eDiscovery / Legal Data Management
2 years of team leadership or management experience
Strong knowledge of:
EDRM (eDiscovery lifecycle)
Legal hold and data preservation processes
Experience managing litigation support and regulatory data requests
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
