This role manages staffing, operations, budget, regulatory compliance, clinical protocols, and strategic development to support exceptional patient care quality across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead departmental strategy and daily operations to support organizational goals
Develop and implement pharmacy programs, policies, and standards
Direct and evaluate patient care delivery models, service levels, workflows, and technology use
Manage budgets and ensure financial performance within allocated resources
Oversee hiring, staffing, performance reviews, training, and corrective actions
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, including HIPAA
Integrate evidence-based clinical practices across medication management
Foster professional development and educational growth within the department
Coordinate and oversee internal/external audits and regulatory inspections
Collaborate with clinical teams, administrative leadership, and quality functions
