We are seeking a highly skilled BI Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Power BI and the Microsoft BI ecosystem. This role will be responsible for designing scalable BI architectures, building advanced data models, and delivering insightful dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Power BI, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), data modeling, and performance optimization, along with the ability to lead BI initiatives and collaborate across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design and implement end-to-end BI architecture using Power BI and Microsoft BI stack
• Ensure alignment with business requirements, scalability, and best practices
• Define BI standards, frameworks, and governance models
  
  

Data Modeling

• Develop efficient and scalable dimensional data models
• Optimize data structures for reporting and analytics
• Implement best practices in DAX and Power Query
  
  

Dashboard & Reporting

• Lead development of interactive dashboards and reports
• Deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Ensure usability, performance, and visual clarity
  
  

Integration & Data Connectivity

• Integrate Power BI with:
• Multiple data sources (SQL, cloud, APIs)
• Enterprise systems
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams
  
  

Performance Optimization

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Optimize:
• Queries
• Data models
• Report rendering
• Implement caching and data refresh strategies
  
  

Security & Governance

• Implement data security and access controls
• Ensure compliance with:
• Organizational policies
• Industry standards
• Manage roles, permissions, and governance frameworks
  
  

Strategy & Leadership

• Define and drive BI strategy and roadmap
• Align BI initiatives with business goals
• Provide architectural guidance and leadership
  
  

Training & Support

• Mentor junior team members
• Provide training to end-users on Power BI tools
• Promote BI adoption across the organization
  
  

Documentation

• Maintain detailed documentation of:
• Architecture designs
• Data models
• Configurations and processes
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in Power BI (Architect-level experience required)
• Strong expertise in:
• Microsoft BI Suite
• Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
• Advanced skills in:
• Data Modeling (Dimensional Modeling)
• DAX and Power Query
• Strong experience with:
• SQL
• Python
• Jupyter Notebooks
• Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead BI projects and collaborate cross-functionally
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Data Factory, etc.)
• Exposure to other BI tools and platforms

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
