As an Acute Care RN - Labor & Delivery, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to mothers and newborns while supporting families during one of life's most meaningful moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to emergent situations
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to Providence clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Montana Registered Nurse (RN) License - upon hire
- BLS (American Heart Association) - upon hire
- NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics) - within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
