Become the "Professional Lighthouse" of our Finance Department

At Veo Technologies, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to serve as our technical anchor and ensure that our financial foundation is rock-solid as we continue to scale globally.
The Role: 50% Controller, 50% Technical Specialist
In this role, you will balance the heartbeat of daily operations with deep-dive professional projects. You will be the primary link between Veo’s daily accounting and our external auditors.You are a "quality-first" person. You enjoy the nuances of accounting legislation and have a natural talent for communicating complex rules in a way that makes sense for the business.

Financial Controlling: Take an active role in our month-end and year-end closing processes. Like the rest of the team, you thrive in ensuring the numbers are accurate and delivered on time.

Technical "Lighthouse": Dive into complex accounting issues and provide clarity. You will be responsible for researching and solving technical accounting challenges.

Accounting Manual & Documentation: Build and maintain our internal accounting manual. You will write high-quality accounting memos that document our positions on key financial matters.

Audit Lead: Own the communication with our external auditors. You will be responsible for preparing the audit file and ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements with excellence.

Compliance: Ensure our practices remain up to date with current accounting standards and regulations.

Experience: Approximately 7 years of professional experience.

Background: Ideally, you have spent 5 years in External Audit, followed by 2 years as a Financial Controller (or a similar role) in a corporate environment.

Technical Expertise: You have a deep understanding of accounting standards and a proven track record of writing technical memos and manuals.

Communication: You are skilled at bridging the gap between technical accounting and business operations, and you are comfortable being the primary point of contact for auditors.
