Summary
We’re hiring someone who has direct, proven experience successfully selling SaaS into colleges and universities.
This is a core enterprise sales role focused on driving institutional adoption across higher education. You will own the full sales cycle — from outbound through procurement to close — and work directly with leadership to secure early university partnerships.
We are currently preparing for launch with initial university partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise SaaS sales into colleges and universities
- Own full sales cycle: outreach → demos → procurement → close
- Build relationships across Student Affairs, IT, and Administration
- Drive early partnership strategy and institutional adoption
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Minimum 3 years successfully selling SaaS directly to colleges/universities
- Proven track record successfully closing enterprise or institutional deals in higher education ($25K–$100K ACV, annual contract value)
- Proven track record successfully closing enterprise or institutional deals in higher education
- Strong understanding of university procurement and decision-making processes
- Ability to operate independently in an early-stage environment
Compensation
Equity
- 1.0% equity, based on a fixed 4,000,000 share cap table (so 40,000 shares total)
- Standard 3-month cliff, then monthly vesting over 36 months total
Cash Incentive (contractor phase only)
- One-time payment per community you help bring on
- 25%–50% of the first month’s revenue from that community
- Exact % depends on the quality, size, and your level of involvement
This is not a marketing or social media role.
This is a revenue-focused enterprise sales role within higher education.
