Hiring: IT Healthcare Consultant – Project Manager
Location: South Carolina (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

We are seeking an experienced IT Healthcare Consultant / Project Manager to lead and support MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) operations for a long-term hybrid opportunity in South Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage MMIS and Medicaid systems operations.
- Oversee claims and encounter processing, production support, helpdesk, and EDI/interface support.
- Handle incident, issue, release, and change management.
- Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor SLAs and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and operational documentation.
- Lead system implementations and enhancement projects.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of Project Management experience.
- 5 years of experience supporting healthcare claims or encounter processing systems.
- 3 years of experience managing third-party vendors.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, incident management, and production support.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide on-call support when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MMIS or Medicaid Enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment.
- AWS Cloud Certification.
- Experience with ticketing tools and SOP documentation.
- Strong presentation and reporting skills.
