🚨 Hiring: Workday OPAL Product Director (W2 only)

We are seeking an experienced Workday OPAL Product Director to lead a large-scale Workday Financials and Purchasing ecosystem in a complex public-sector environment.
This strategic leadership role will oversee a team of 40 professionals, driving Workday product strategy, system optimization, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Define and execute the Workday Financial Management product roadmap
✅ Lead Workday implementation, optimization, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives
✅ Manage and mentor cross-functional teams including functional experts, analysts, and administrators
✅ Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders to align Workday initiatives with organizational goals
✅ Drive continuous improvement across Finance, Purchasing, and related Workday modules
✅ Oversee integrations, reporting, security, compliance, and system performance
✅ Champion change management, user adoption, and training programs
Required Experience:
✔ Deep expertise with Workday Financials, Purchasing, and related modules
✔ Experience with Workday Studio, Workday Integrations, and Workday Reporting
✔ Proven success leading large-scale Workday implementations and optimization projects
✔ Strong understanding of public sector finance, procurement, compliance, and governance
✔ 10 years of financial systems management experience
✔ 5 years leading large, cross-functional teams
✔ Experience developing product strategy, roadmaps, and enterprise transformation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Experience within government, municipalities, higher education, or other large public-sector organizations
⭐ Experience with additional ERP platforms
⭐ Workday certifications and/or advanced degree
⭐ Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
