Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Must Have:
• The candidate should also have a strong understanding of
o Electricity Distribution business
o DERMS, ADMS & SCADA for North American utilities
o Implementation Lifecycle experience
o Business Requirements Gathering
o
• Working experience with electrical utility on their DERMS product. AspenTech/ OSII DERMS product experience will be preference.
• Understanding of overall DERMS architecture, use cases including:
o Customer Connection Options – Solar, EV, ES. To reduce interconnection time, cost & interconnection capacity challenges
o Monitoring and Dispatch Control (FTM, VPP, Demand Response, Microgrid Etc.)
o FERC 2222 Compliance and ISO-DSO Support (Aggregation Registration Management, Operational Coordination)
o Grid Services - To allow DER to support system and local needs for reliability and resiliency including NWA, Smart Inverter Functions Management, Abnormal System conditions)
• Testing experience in DERMS (mandatory).
• Able to work with Business Stakeholders, work on testing deliverables such as Testing Strategy, test plans, test executions, Defect Management etc.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, cross platform testing, component testing, performance testing etc.
• Experience on JIRA
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing developments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
• Experience in writing test scripts

• Demonstrated ability to recognize and communicate project risks as well as implement mitigation strategies
